Holiday Club
Welcome to the Holiday Club at the Kings Of Wessex Leisure Centre. Come and join in the holiday fun!
The Holiday club consists of two sessions. This scenario allows us to cater for those working parents who work half days, and would like to enjoy half day sessions, which has not been an option until now.
The playshceme day is as follows:
8.30am until 10.00am - £3.50
During this session, we will still be offering toast and a drink as previously in breakfast club, with a number of games and activities for the children to wake up to. All you have to do is get them out of bed!
(On days when trips are arranged we will begin our day earlier!)
10.00am until 5.30pm - £12.50
We will continue with the days activities with 4.00 - 5.30 being a quiet wind down session to calm the day down before sending them home for tea.
Lunch will be from 12.00 until 1.00pm, therefore anyone in this session must bring a packed lunch with them.
The Main Activities
Arts and Crafts
Be creative... lots of crazy crafty ideas, from beads and braids to clay modelling and tye-dye. Take home your moasterpieces for all your family to enjoy! For those who prefer a slower more relaxed pace.
Multi-Sports
A variety of fun sports and games, largely chosen by you! Dodgeball, soccer, uni-hoc and much more. Designed for the energetic and adventurous.
Important Information
The Kings of Wessex Leisure Centre Playscheme is a holiday club, registered with OFSTED as a 'good' provision. To enable us to keep up our registration it is essential that we follow strict guidelines with regards to adult / child ratios and that we produce full policies and procedures encompassing the Playscheme as a whole, that are fully accessible to you as parents to look at whenever you wish. It is imperative that we adhere to all the guidelines, so it is for that reason that the following booking procedures are followed:
The playscheme is registered with OFSTED and for this reason it is essential that we follow strict guidelines for adult/ child ratio's etc. To enable us to continue to offer this scheme it is vital that all families adhere to these guidelines. It is imperative that we have the correct staff ratio of adults to children, therefore the following booking procedures are to be followed:
- You must book in advance to guarantee a place.
- You must pay at the time of booking
- Sorry, booking's are neither refundable or transferable
- Telephone bookings will only be accepted with credit/ debit card payment.
We also require a signature upon first arrival, in order to confirm any bookings. If a booking is not confirmed we will not be held liable to any misbookings made.
Playscheme is for children aged 5 - 12 YEARS ONLY. Please include a packed lunch, as food is not available. To book over the phone, please contact reception on 01934 744939.
