The Swimming Pool
Welcome to the Swimming Pool at the Kings Of Wessex Leisure Centre. Our pool is 25 metres long with 5 lanes available at specific times to swim in. With the added ability to adjust the floor height at the shallow end from 0 metres up to a depth of 1 metre, it is ideal for activites such as family fun swims and pre-school lessons right through to specialised training sessions and swimming gala's. The maximum depth of the pool is 1.64 metres at the deep end.
Public Swim Ratios: (Adult = 16+)
Adult to Child Bather Ratio's are as follows:
- 0 - 5 years = 1 Adult to 1 Child
- 6 - 9 years = 1 Adult to 2 Children
- 10 years + = Unaccompanied
Family Fun Swim Ratios:
Adult to Child Bather Ratio's are as follows:
- 0 - 4 years = 1 Adult to 2 Children
- 5 - 9 years = 1 Adult to 3 Children
- 10 years + = Unaccompanied
